The weekly markets set the pace in Manosque’s squares: 7.30am to 12.45pm in summer and 8.00am to 12.45pm in winter.

On Saturday, the markets are on on the place du Terreau, la place Marcel Pagnol and la place de l’Hôtel de Ville. On Wednesday and Friday, inhabitants and tourists go to the farmer’s market on the place de l’Hôtel de Ville. The Wednesday market, on the promenade Aubert Millot, is specialised in local produce.


Applying for a stand

The market is open to professionals and stalls are limited. Conditions for becoming a stall holder at the market are set by the mayor, based on public law and order, and the best use of public areas. Requests for a stall must be addressed to Mr. the Mayor of Manosque, with the following information:

  • the surname and first name of the applicant,
  • applicant’s address,
  • precise occupation with supporting documents,
  • the surface area required,
  • the selected market(s).

Supporting documents (municipal law no. 113-2012) according the applicant’s situation.


Annual fairs

Every year, two fairs are organised by the town of Manosque: la Foire des Rameaux (Palm Sunday fair) on the last Sunday of March, and the Foire de Saint Pancras on the second Saturday in May.
